A growing MD/OD private practice group in the Nolensville / greater Nashville area is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their team and help grow a high-potential, upper-end location.

The role is designed as a long-term home-base position, with occasional opportunities to work at a nearby affiliated clinic.

🗓 Schedule & Flexibility
Full-time opportunity
Average ~22 patients per day
Patient volume may vary slightly depending on schedule, with technician support helping maintain an efficient workflow.
👁 Patient Care
Balanced mix of comprehensive and medical optometry.
Typical patient mix includes:
– ~50% comprehensive eye exams
– ~50% medical eye care
Medical services may include:
– Glaucoma management
– Dry eye treatment
– Medical eye disease evaluations
– Co-management with MDs
Opportunity to build and grow medical volume over time.
👥 Practice Environment
MD/OD private practice group (not corporate)
Practice setup includes:
– 2–3 exam lanes
– Dedicated tech room
– Contact lens room
– Optical dispensary
– Separate diagnostic testing areas
The group also operates an affiliated clinic located near Target that runs as an independent private practice and provides additional medical referral flow.

💰 Compensation & Benefits
Base salary depends on experience:
New Graduates
$130,000 – $135,000 base salary
Experienced ODs (2–3+ years)
$140,000 – $150,000 base salary
Additional compensation:
– Production incentive structure on top of base
– Experienced producers may reach $170,000 – $180,000+ total compensation

✅ Requirements
Doctor of Optometry from an accredited institution
Active or obtainable Tennessee Optometry license
