Optometrist: Corporate Practice (OD), Sacramento, CA

IMMEDIATE opening — Full-time position available. Expected pay range: $160,000–$185,000 + benefits.

Retention bonus: $3,000–$20,000 depending on contract length.

Part-time/Fill-in option: $600–$800 per diem (hotel accommodations provided if travel is required).

Overview

This position involves seeing approximately 13–14 patients per day, providing comprehensive eye exams, refractions, and soft contact lens fittings. In addition to routine care, the clinic offers opportunities to manage a variety of medical eye conditions.

The fully equipped office includes advanced diagnostic technology such as Optos imaging, and offers competitive pay, a convenient location, and a supportive, low-stress work environment. You’ll have flexibility to provide medical management or specialty care based on your clinical interests and expertise.

1. Full-time
Compensation Options:
– Option 1: Expected annual income of $185,000 (includes $20K student loan payment) with 3-year contract
– Option 2: Expected annual income of $160,000 + benefits + yearly performance bonus ($5K–$10K, increasing annually)

2. Part-time/Fill-in:
– Local: $600–$800 per diem
– Traveling: $600 per diem + complimentary hotel stay
