Primary location:

The practice is located on/near Rodeo Drive.
There may also be opportunities for occasional coverage at the practice’s Brentwood location.

🗓 Schedule & Flexibility
Part-time position to start, approximately 2–3 days per week.
Typical hours:
– 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Approximately 30-minute lunch
Saturday availability is required, with a preference for 3–4 Saturdays per month.

Potential additional days may include:
– Tuesdays
– Fridays
Weekday availability can be flexible depending on existing doctor coverage.
There is potential to transition into a full-time position if it is a good mutual fit.

👁 Patient Load
Approximately 8–12 patients per day.
Appointments are generally scheduled for approximately 30 minutes, allowing plenty of time for thorough exams and personalized patient care.
Patient care includes:
– Comprehensive eye exams
– Refractions
– Contact lens exams and fittings
– Patient education
– Referrals and coordination of care
– Follow-up with patients and outside specialists
The practice has a high-touch approach to patient care, with an emphasis on communication, personal attention, and helping patients navigate referrals and follow-up when needed.

🔬 Technology & Staff Support
Technology includes:
– Optos widefield imaging
– Auto-refractor
– Lensometry
– Full range of contact lens trials, including multifocal, daily, bi-weekly, and monthly lenses

Staff assists with:
– Pre-testing
– Imaging
– Auto-refraction
– Lensometry

💰 Compensation
$550–$625 per day, depending on experience.
