Eye Spy Talent is committed to connecting optometry practices with highly qualified candidates. Our services for employers are designed to streamline the recruitment process and ensure you find the best talent for your practice.

Employment Options

Client will receive 5 (five) qualified opportunities, and is considered as an option after either an in-person, virtual, or phone interview with the potential Employer. If the Client would like more, an additional retainer payment may apply.

Cost Upon Hiring

Positions under 28 hours/week will incur a fee of $100/day worked, payable on the first of each month for the previous month's work, up to a maximum of $12,000.

For positions of 28+ hours/week, the fee is $10,000 upfront, or $12,000 split into three $4,000 payments due at the following milestones:

  • Signing of Employment
  • 90 Days after Start Date
  • 180 Days after Start Date

Cost to Begin

Employment Candidate Search will begin upon receipt of signed contract and receipt of the $499 retainer payment. This is primarily to ensure the Client is serious and dedicated to the recruitment process, as our team will spend time to find genuine opportunities based on the Client's profile.

Cost Upon Hiring

Eye Spy Talent uses percentage-based pricing so our incentives stay aligned with yours. Instead of fixed recruiting fees, our placement rate is based on the optometrist’s expected total compensation (base salary + expected bonus/production).

Placement Fee

8–14% of expected total OD compensation

The exact percentage depends on:

Geographic location
Market saturation
Recruiting difficulty
Urgency and scope of the search

You only pay upon a successful hire.

Pricing Details

We ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process. Our services begin with a signed contract and a retainer fee, demonstrating your commitment to finding the best talent for your practice.

Part-Time & Contract Roles

Part-time placements are priced proportionally based on full-time value:

  • 60% (3/5) of the full-time equivalent placement fee
  • Calculated based on days committed at contract signing

Retainer/Marketing Fee

  • $1,000 initiation retainer to begin the search
  • Fee will be applied toward marketing costs
