Optometrist – Private Practice | Full-Time | La Quinta, CA

📍 Location
Primary location: La Quinta, CA
Located in the Coachella Valley, the practice serves patients throughout the Greater Palm Springs area in a modern, boutique-style office.

🗓 Schedule
Full-time position.
The schedule is designed to provide excellent work-life balance, including four consecutive days off every other week.

Example rotation:
Week 1
Work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Off: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Week 2
Work: Wednesday, Thursday
Off: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

👁 Patient Care
Approximately 16–20 patients per day.
The practice focuses primarily on comprehensive eye care with limited medical optometry. More advanced medical cases are referred to local ophthalmology specialists when appropriate.

Specialty services include:
Myopia management
RGP contact lenses
Scleral lenses
Vision therapy (opportunity to learn)

💰 Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
Salary: $125,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience and clinical proficiency
Per diem option also available

Requirements
Active California Optometry License (TPA Certified)
Comfortable practicing comprehensive optometry
